The ideal candidate will be able to creatively develop, shoot, and edit video content of all kinds and possess experience in set operations, professional cameras, sound recording, sound mixing, sound design, and set lighting.

Universal Grooves Records is seeking Publishing and UGR interns. Applicants should be available to work out of our Boston office 2-3 days for at least 16 hours per week.
Publishing and UGR candidate should have knowledge of the Record Labels, as well as of the electronic music community as a whole. Knowledge of electronic music and artists across all genres is a must, as well as having their finger on the pulse of major events, festivals, and releases outside of Universal Grooves, news pertaining to the electronic community, etc. Candidate must have strong research skills and solid knowledge of music writing and music composition.
You will be responsible for:
Researching writers and producers
Maintaining contact list and database
Compiling music assets
Maintaining UGR newsletter
Support to UGR administration
Assisting with maintenance of streaming services like SoundCloud, YouTube, Spotify, Radio amongst others
Assisting with and tracking ticket giveaways and other social media contesting
Brainstorming for marketing and promotion proposals for ongoing and upcoming releases and tours
Tracking and reporting on release campaigns
Updating Social Media Calendar/Schedule
Sourcing assets for Social posts
Image creation for social posts (if comfortable using Photoshop)
Compiling links and insights for reports
